Best. Wife. EVER.

My beautiful wife and I feel in love in high school 20 years ago.  13 years ago (April 26, 1996) we married, 10 years ago we had our first child, 9 years ago our second and 5 years ago our third.  Being married to Kris has been the highlight of my life.  Thanks honey, for picking me over Tom Cruise… I ❤ U!

Xtranormal is xtrafun (give it a try)

A couple weeks ago John Pederson tweeted about making an animation of his kids talking about mom’s birthday, I watched, chuckled, then moved on (my mind works like a constantly flushing toilet). Then yesterday the Admissions intern said he was doing some cool stuff on xtranormal.com, the same site John had used. So I jiggled the handle on my mind… below is what the toilet bowl filled with before flushing yet agian. Enjoy!

Please note:
Pluses: It was extremely easy to work with xtranormal’s interface. This video took me less than 30 minutes to create. It’s wicked easy to publish the finished product to YouTube, so that’s a big bonus. It’s FREE.

Minuses: No custom backgrounds. Just a few voices to choose from. The movie above reached the maximum length allowed (want to go longer, make it a series). There is a premium account option, but it hasn’t been released yet.

Go play: www.xtranormal.com – post a link to your creation in the comments!

UPDATE: You can customize the background!

#gagshake shopping trip

Red Bull, Peaches, Pumpkin Pie
Needed to pick up some ingredients for a couple gag shake recipes (#3 and #4), and thought I’d video me + three kids shopping at the local Piggly Wiggly… oh joy. Asked twitter how long it would take, and @thendrix nailed it, 25 minutes of family fun FTW!

Upcoming recipes:
#3 – Tuna (@shelleyKeith) + green beans (@jljohnstone) + cheese whiz (@KarlynM) + Red Bull (@Robin2go)

#4 /not kid friendly/ – Bourbon (@jdwcornell) + Balsamic vinegar (@epsteada) + peaches (@PinkPeonies) + pumpkin pie filling (@howardkang)

Gag Shake #2

I believe that children are our future!
Recipe #2: Ranch dressing, coffee, broccoli and mustard.  It actually tasted like a bitter hot dog, very interesting to say the least.  Next go around, the kids will be taking gag shots, an entire shake is just too much for their tiny stomachs.
